Stunning Carnelian Cameo Ring 9K Yellow Gold
This lovely Carnelian ring is 9KT yellow gold, likely English or Scottish origin.  It has a fantastic cameo carved into the stone.  The mount is very attractive as well.  This looks deeper than 9KT but it is stamped 9.375 and it also has a makers mark, stamped MK.  I suspect the mount may be a higher gold percentage than the shank.  It's tone suggests 14 or 15KT gold.  I would date this to the late 19th century.  The ring is sized at about 6 1/4.   Total weight is just under 5 grams.  It's a really beautiful piece and I see no damage at all to this ring.
