Large Fossil Green River Formation Phareodus Encaustus from Wyoming

Description

Large Phareodus Encaustus fossil from the Green River Formation in Wyoming, approx. 50 million years ago.
The fossil in it's entirety  measures 24"w x 13 1/2"t x 2"d
Fish only measures 19 1/2" w x 9" t
This specimen is unique since it was found in it's original deposit. It has bone and skin showing as well as exceptional detail and color. I have enjoyed it in my personal collection for years
