Fossil Bird Bones Green River Formation Wyoming Fossil Lake Eocene 52 mya

Here are some fossil bones that have been identified as from a bird. From the world-famous fossil beds of Fossil Lake, Green River Formation, Wyoming. From the Eocene, 52 million years ago.
We took this to Fossil Butte National Monument Visitors Center, outside of Kemmerer, Wyoming. They said it did appear to come from a bird.  Beyond that, there was no speculation as to species.  Just not enough information from the bones we see here.
But either way, bird bones, or anything else from a bird, are a rarity in Fossil Lake deposits.  Individual feathers are the most common, and they are not common at all.
From tip to tip, it is about 5.2 inches from one end of the bones to the other. The plate is about 6" by 4.3", and it weighs 1 lb. 0.6 oz.
An interesting addition to an advanced Green River Formation fossil collection.
