    How do I use it?
Very simple... Just add about 1/4 tsp of Neti Salt in the Neti Pot and fill with clean, warm water. Swirl around to dissolve. (One on the advantages of the round Neti). Lean over the sink and tilt your head slightly to one side. Place the Neti Pot spout against the higher nostril and start to pour. It is best to hold your breath or breathe through your mouth while doing this. It may seem unnatural at first but you will easily get used to it. Half way through, blow lightly through your nose to push loose residue into the sink and switch nostrils. Empty the neti pot and blow slightly again.
    When should I use it?
It is best to Neti 2 to 3 times per day, Especially through hay fever and flu season. Neti in the morning, late afternoon when the pollen is the strongest, and again before going to bed. Use it before yoga, or working out to truly clear your nasal passages. Flush out the pollen, germs and dust your nasal system filters out. Neti after cutting the lawn or after working in a dirty / dusty environment. The saline solution also naturally sterilizes as it cleans. It will help to prevent many airborne viruses from settling in. Use the neti before sleeping for easier breathing and some report it to help control snoring. You will feel so much better knowing that you are flushing out many of the germs you breathe as well as the environmental pollutants you are exposed to continuously....
Do Not buy a Plastic Neti Pot!
Plastics leach toxic PBA's and you are trying to clean the toxins from your system. Why pour PBA's through your nasal passage? Your sinuses are one of the most absorptive areas of your body. Only buy and use, Ceramic (lead free), Stainless Steel or Glass Neti Pots.
If you're one of the millions of Americans dealing with chronic sinus problems, you know how miserable the headaches, facial pain, and clogged nasal passages can be. In their search for relief, many sinus sufferers have turned to nasal saline irrigation, a therapy that uses a salt and water solution to flush out the nasal cavity.
Although several methods of nasal irrigation exist, one of the most popular is the Neti pot -- a ceramic pot that looks like a cross between a small teapot and Aladdin's magic lamp. Although nasal irrigation using the Neti pot has been around for centuries, its use is on the rise in the U.S., thanks to an appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show and a fair amount of news coverage. The Neti pot originally comes from the Ayurvedic/yoga medical tradition. ~WEB MED~
