This metal piece is 1 5/8 by 1.75 inches. It functions by moving the disk and is in perfect condition. It was made by Anderson & Sons, Inc. of Westfield, MASS MA. in the late 1970's. The Adler Planetarium was financed by Sears Executive Max Adler who was raised in Elgin, IL. His Father was a tailor and he was a millionaire. This building was opened in 1930 as the FIRST PLANETARIUM in the WESTERN HEMISPHERE.
