Handcrafted in the USA. Guaranteed to get scrape globs of molten ferrocerium. When used as described below.

This is an excellent striker for your firesteel / ferro rod / ferrocerium rod. Much better than the striker that came with your lesser quality ferro rod.
Four very sharp edges, scrapes metal from your ferro rod to create molten globs of hot molten metal.
When using this striker, scrape like peeling a carrot, lay the striker almost flat against your ferro rod and scrape using firm pressure. Using long smooth strokes.
The handle is made of beautiful osage orange wood.  It is 3 3/4 inches long and the striker is 1 1/2 inches long.
The handle is finished with sanding sealer, Redneck Renegade's sanding wax and Howard's citrus shield premium paste was.
